Uni (Stake and Notify) is a character in Season Five of the Showtime series DEXTER.
He delivers a report to Debra Morgan about Jordan Chase.
Summary[]
When Debra expresses her dismay that Jordan Chase has disappeared, Lt. Maria LaGuerta suggests that she issue a “stake and notify” to find him.
Meanwhile, Jordan is on his way to River Jordan Camp with Lumen Pierce locked inside the trunk. As he waits at a stoplight, her thumping and kicking noises are noticed by a street vendor.
Debra is deep in thought in her office when an Uni appears at the door.
Uni: “Detective Morgan?”
Debra: “Yeah."
Uni: “I'm sorry for intruding. It's from your stake and notify. Should I put it on your desk?”
Debra: “No. What -- what is it?”
Uni: (handing her the report) “Someone said they spotted Jordan Chase.”
Debra: “A street vendor?”
Uni: “Yeah, up by Muralia Road. Weird thing is, he thought he heard noises coming from the trunk. That's why he called it in. I know, sounds unlikely.”
Debra: “Yeah. Maybe I'll check it out. Thanks.”
Deb interviews the street vendor and he directs her to River Jordan Camp.
