Dexter in U.S. Post Office
U.S. Post Office is a location in Season Seven of the Showtime series DEXTER.
While Dexter Morgan is waiting to mail two packages, he imagines slashing the throat of a postal clerk.
Summary[]
As Dexter stands in line at a crowded post office, he feels trapped like a caged animal. His frustration grows, not because of where he is, but because Debra has been thwarting his murderous efforts. As she waits impatiently for him in the background, Dexter fantasizes about slashing the throat of the postal clerk when she closes the window in his face.
Actually, Dexter just steps to the next clerk and gives him two packages to mail. One of the packages contains the prosthetic hand that Louis Greene sent him. The other contains a video of Louis with a hooker. Dexter mails the hand to the forensics department, making sure that Vince Masuka will open it, read the letter inside, discover that Louis had bought the hand, and fire him. He sends the hooker video to Jamie Batista, who is dating Louis, so she will break up with him. Both strategies work.
