The Waterfront Stroll crime scene

The Waterfront Stroll is a location in Season Three of the Showtime series DEXTER.

It’s a hooker hangout near the harbor in Miami.

Summary

A corpse is found near the water and reported by two prostitutes. Dexter arrives at the scene and parks near a grassy area. As he exits his car, camera in hand, he is met by an annoyed Debra. She asks Dexter where he was last night, since he stood her up at The Blue Room for their annual celebration of their father's birthday. He tells her that he’s working out some personal stuff regarding Harry, and she chews him out. He apologizes for not noticing her new haircut earlier and says it’s beautiful, which causes Deb’s mood to brighten.

Angel shows up with a hangover and in a bad mood up. Debra informs Dexter that Angel took her off the Oscar Prado case and moved her to this case. She leads Dexter past a chain link fence, under a yellow police tape, and down to see the "dead-end Jane Doe."

Masuka is squatting next to the body, which is lying face down. When he tells Dexter that the victim was strangled, Dexter asks why they called him in, when there's no blood. Masuka then turns the body over to show him a bloody square on her right shoulder where her skin has been peeled away. Dexter recognizes the face of the victim -- Teegan, Freebo's girlfriend -- whom Dexter met briefly while at Freebo's house. Dexter keeps her identity to himself, and suspects that Freebo killed her.
