The Bowls of Wrath by Dave Lebow
The Bowls of Wrath is a crime scene in Season Six of Showtime's series DEXTER.
It was the fifth of the major Doomsday Tableaus.

Crime[]
Professor Trent Casey was found murdered and mutilated in the lecture hall at Miami South University.
Method[]
Casey's blood had been drained, his insides hollowed out, and his right hand cut off. Also, the Alpha-Omega symbol was carved into his abdomen. Seven bowls of his blood had been set up around the top of the stage symbolizing The Bowls of Wrath. When Vince Masuka lifted Casey's arm, it caused a cascade of blood to pour down upon him, along with Dexter Morgan, Debra Morgan, Mike Anderson, and Angel Batista.
Motive[]
Based on his religious beliefs, the killer was following a plan to bring on the End of Days. This consisted of a series of specifically designed crime scenes (inspired by the Book of Revelation). Travis targeted Casey due to his views as an atheist
Clues and Evidence[]
A ritualistic method was used to commit the murder, and The Alpha-Omega symbol matched other ones seen at previous Doomsday Tableaus.
Victim[]
- Professor Trent Casey, an evolutionary biologist and an outspoken atheist.
Suspects[]
The suspects in this crime were religious zealots, with the primary suspect being Professor James Gellar. The actual killer, however, was Travis Marshall, a 33-year-old Caucasian man who worked at the Miami Cultural Center.
