Non-Psychopath Relevance?[]
Is it really that relevant to describe Lumen as having a DP? I was under the impression that the DP is specifically an anthropomorphic representation of the bloodlust of psychopaths. Lumen is driven by desire for security and revenge rather than a sense of superiority and need to kill for killing's sake. --Dragonclaws(talk) 11:35, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
Dexter compares the feelings she has and how she wishes to deal with them as her own Dark Passenger, possibly meaning that in another way: her own UNIQUE passenger. From what I can see, a Dark Passenger is whatever nags at an individual...wanting to make them take care of whatever will ease the person's suffering. For Dexter, this is killing (as you said)...for Lumen, this is getting revenge (again as you said)... even if she doesn't do it herself. However, with her most recent kill, she is at home with her feelings and has accepted it...previews for the next episode suggest she feels like she's Dexter's equal in what kind of people they are...so it is possible she'll further explore use of her dark passenger's desires after Jordan's death. My guess? She'll survive this season and next season will be a duo of killers. However with Debra on Lumen's trail, the question is...will she survive?
Regardless, since Dexter made note of it in the Show...she deserves a mention for having a Dark Passenger.TVthePunisher 16:34, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
