Sonny Skyes is a character in Season Four of the Showtime series DEXTER.

Summary[]
When Dexter learns that Arthur Mitchell is traveling to a Four Walls One Heart build site in Tampa, he decides to go with him as an opportunity to kill Arthur. Needing an excuse to be out of town, Dexter looks up events in Tampa related to his job, and finds a perfect reason: East Coast Meteorological Conference.
Sounding excited, Dexter tells Maria LaGuerta and Rita about the convention and describes how weather patterns, such as barometric pressure and humidity, can affect the integrity of blood spatter. He presents the convention as a way for him to be a more efficient and valuable analyst. Both allow him to attend it with no objections.
In Tampa, Dexter locates a diner near the convention and easily finds Sonny Skyes. He asks if he can take a pic with him, saying that his wife is a huge fan. Sonny readily agrees and they pose together, each smiling. Dexter immediately sends the pic from his phone to Rita with the message, “Me and Sonny! Learning lots, xoxo D.”
