Sea Plane Pilot is a character in Season Eight of the Showtime series DEXTER.
He nearly flies fugitive Hannah McKay out of Miami, until Dexter Morgan asks her to stay.
Summary[]
Hannah needs to flee the country and Dexter obtains a new identity for her. He takes her to a hotel room where she can stay hidden for the night.
Dexter: “Your plane leaves at 8:00 a.m. Twenty-seven minutes later, you'll land in Nassau. Destroy your old passport. From there...where you go is up to you. Where do you think you'll go?”
Hannah: “Haven't decided.”
Dexter: “Argentina?”
Hannah: “Maybe.”
Dexter: “Will you let me know?”
Hannah: “Yes.”
Dexter: “Okay. I'll wait to hear from you.”
He starts to leave.
Hannah: “Dexter, my passport.”
Dexter: “Oh, right. Almost forgot.”
Hannah: [taking her passport] "Claire Thompson. I guess I look like a Claire.”
Dexter: “He assured me it's a name that won't get flagged.”
Hannah: “It's perfect. Thank you.”
Dexter: “And here's a ‘Claire Thompson’ credit card.”
Hannah: “I have some cash too, so…”
Dexter: “When you land in Nassau, make your last withdrawal as Maggie Castner. Keep it under ten grand. Then I can talk you through how to set up an international bank account.”
Hannah suddenly kisses Dexter.
Hannah: “You should go.”
Dexter: “I should go.”
They gaze longingly at each other, kiss again, and then make love.
When Dexter returns to his apartment, he finds the body of Zach Hamilton and buries him at sea.
The next morning, Dexter hurries to the dock where a pilot is loading Hannah’s luggage into a sea plane. He calls Hannah's name and she turns around. She is surprised when Dexter walks up to her and says, “ Don't go. Stay with me.” After a moment, they embrace.
