Ryan Foster case is a police investigation in season 1 of the Showtime series Dexter: Resurrection
It deals with the murder and dismemberment of Ryan Foster.
The previous major case before this one was the Brain Surgeon Case.
Suspects[]
- Harrison Morgan - He was the initial suspect in the case but was cleared. He turned out to be the true killer all along.
- Dexter Morgan - While he had an alibi, the similarities to a previous case and the fact Dexter was thought to be the true killer of the earlier case made him a target of a former Miami Metro police officer
- Mia LaPierre - She was framed as the murderer since she was a serial killer who targeted sexual predators and had the watch of the deceased victim
Summary[]
Harrison Morgan was the initial suspect in the case. Melvin Oliva and Claudette Wallace of the New York Police Department were assigned to the case. Harrison became a suspect when he ran into a shopping cart while hallucinated Foster, peaking interest in Wallace. When Angel Batista told them that the case reminded him of the Bay Harbor Butcher Case and that Dexter Morgan (Harrison's father) was the real perpetrator in those murders, Harrison quickly became the prime suspect. Claudette Wallace and Melvin Oliva while investigating Harrison, tried to make him confess to killing Ryan Foster, Melvin Oliva said that if he confessed, it would be taken from 1st degree murder, to justifiable homicide.
When Dexter planted Ryan Foster's watch in Mia LaPierre's trophy box, she was considered the killer, though Batista tried to convince authorities, he failed.
Victim[]
Ryan Foster - Was a serial sexual predator who got away with his crime's multiple times. He was killed and dismembered after trying to rape a drunk woman named Shauna.
Closure of Case[]
The case has been officially closed because the victim was attributed to Mia LaPierre, a vigilante serial killer who targeted sexual predators.
Fate of Killer[]
The real killer, Harrison Morgan, got away with the crime.
