Rosalia Davalos is a character in Season Six of the Showtime series DEXTER.
She was the sixteenth prostitute killed by Walter Kenney aka The Tooth Fairy Killer.
Summary[]
After five years of living in Miami, Walter Kenney misses the thrill of killing. A block away from his retirement home, he attacks Rosalia. Walter is no longer young and it takes him over ten minutes to kill her. He tries for another twenty minutes to remove her tooth with a pair of pliers, but only cracks it.
At the crime scene on Euclid, Dexter notices Rosalia’s broken lateral incisor and injured gum. He wonders if it is the work of The Tooth Fairy Killer, an infamous serial killer during the 1980s. He soon identifies The Tooth Fairy Killer as Walter Kenney, a retiree from the state of Oregon who lives at Coral Island Retirement Village, a block away from where Rosalia's body is found.
During the police briefing, it’s mentioned that fingerprints gave her name (spelled Rosalia Davolos). With several priors for solicitation, the local merchants said the strip where she was found was practically her office. Her cell phone turned up a list of numbers, mostly johns. According to Masuka, Rosalia’s tox screen showed trace amounts of cocaine in her system. When he adds, “and doughnuts,” everyone chuckles. Deb orders the area checked for known pushers as maybe Rosalia was caught up in a bad deal or got behind in a payment.
