Summary

The shooter used to work for a restaurant waiting tables until the manager fired him for unknown reasons. After this, the man became so enraged that he bought two handguns and a Kevlar vest in preparation to go back to the restaurant to take his revenge.

While off-duty, Detectives Debra Morgan and Joey Quinn stopped by the restaurant where Joey was planning to propose to Debra. Due to his nervousness. Joey went into the restroom to practice his proposal.

While Debra waited for Joey to return to the table, the shooter walked in and began shooting. He killed the manager in the middle of the restaurant, and Debra yelled for everyone to get down while she drew her weapon. She and the shooter exchanged bullets and Debra put a few in his chest, but she realized that he was wearing Kevlar. In the midst of the shooting, the shooter killed a patron. Debra aimed for the shooter's legs and he dropped down to his knees. She then tackled him and arrested him, with the help of Joey. A patron captured the incident on his phone and uploaded it online.
