Police Boat is a watercraft used by by Miami Metro Homicide Dept. in Season Five of the Showtime series DEXTER.
Summary[]
While Dexter is in the midst of trying to locate Lumen Pierce after she was kidnapped by Jordan Chase, he is ordered to Stan Liddy's crime scene. He is annoyed at this interruption, especially since he is the one who had killed Liddy a short while earlier.
Maria LaGuerta notifies the detectives that they will take the "boat" to the crime scene since it is across the bay. While on the boat crossing the water, Joey Quinn eyes Dexter suspiciously and asks his opinion about what happened to Liddy. Dexter says he heard Liddy was "shady" and something may have come back to bite him.
Quinn knew that Liddy believed Dexter was engaged in illegal activities and wanted his help in arresting him ti get his job back. Although Quinn likely suspected that Dexter was involved in Liddy's murder, he kept quiet for Debra's sake. Later, Dexter cleared Quinn of suspicion when blood was found on his shoe.
