Peters is a character in Season Two of the Showtime series DEXTER.
He and Borelli serve the arrest warrant on Angel Batista after Lila West files false charges against him.
Summary[]
Debra hears a man call “Morgan!” and she turns to see Peters and Borelli entering the homicide dept. She cheerily says, “Nice hair, Borelli. I’m sure the johns up in Boys Town are loving that Duran Duran look.” No one smiles and she asks, “What’s the matter with you meatheads? Lose your sense of humor?” When still no one smiles, Angel Batista tells her the joke is not funny.
Borelli sighs and says they have a warrant for Detective Batista’s arrest. Deb, taken aback, says, “Bullshit. For what?” Borelli explains that a woman named Lila Tournay has filed sexual assault charges against Angel. Enraged, Deb states, ‘That fucking bitch.” Angel tells her that it’s okay, and he knew this was coming. Deb says it’s not okay and she calls out to Captain Matthews and Lieutenant LaGuerta.
When Peters takes out his handcuffs, Debra orders him to put them away or she’ll shove them up his ass. LaGuerta appears and asks what’s going on. Borelli tells her they’ve been asked to bring Angel upstairs for processing. Matthews, who is listening, says he’s sure that Det. Batista will go along peacefully. Angel solemnly hands over his gun and badge to Matthews.
As Angel is walking away with Borelli and Peters, he tells Dexter that it’s not his fault. Since Dexter had warned Angel about Lila, he doesn’t think it’s his fault, but he hates to see Angel disgraced in front of everyone. Later, the charges are dropped against Angel.
