Michael Cuesta (born 8 July 1963) is an American director and producer.
In 2006, Cuesta joined the production staff of the Showtime series DEXTER. He was the co-executive producer and a recurring director during the first season. He left the crew at the end of Season One.

He is best known for his independent films, especially for having co-written and directed the 2001 film, L.I.E. He has also directed and produced television series, including Six Feet Under, Blue Bloods, and Homeland.
