Miami Shores Storage
Miami Shores Storage is a location in Showtime’s series DEXTER.
For a short time, Dexter Morgan rented a large, shipping container in this public storage yard to hide his kill tools and related items.
Season Four[]
To organize his recently rented shipping container, Dexter went at night to the storage yard. He spent a few minutes looking over his knives and then rolled them up. Next, he hid his blood slide box inside an air conditioner. He thought it made sense to keep his kill tools in a shipping container, since his “Dark Passenger” was born in one.
Inside the shipping container, Dexter looked through Frank Lundy's files about The Trinity Killer (which he had stolen from Lundy's hotel room). Dexter needed to select a murderer to frame as Trinity. He decided on Stan Beaudry, a long haul trucker based in Miami.
Season Five[]
- "My Bad"
Following Rita's death, Dexter decided that everyone would be better off without him in their lives. On the day of Rita’s funeral, he deleted all files from his computer, and asked Debra about her love for Harrison. He went alone to the funeral home to say a final goodbye to Rita, and ended up telling her that he was a serial killer. Afterward, Dexter went to the storage container with a large bag and a can of gas. He gathered up a few things - a suit, his kill tools, and blood slide box. Then he poured gasoline throughout the container, lit a lighter, and threw it onto the gasoline. Everything in the container burst into flames. His next stop was his marina where he took off on his boat, Slice of Life, intending to never return.
