Marty is a character in the Showtime series DEXTER.
He is a food truck service window attendant.
History[]
Marty parks his mobile blue and silver food truck outside the Miami Metro Police Department. His menu features Cuban-style items. The department's employees often purchase his coffee and sandwiches.
Season Four[]
Debra Morgan and Francis are sitting at a table near Marty's food truck, discussing Debra's search for the woman who had an affair with Harry. They observe Joey Quinn angrily confronting Dexter about his screw-up in court, which allowed Benito Gomez to go free.
Later, Dexter asks to buy a "triple red eye" from Marty, who gives him a worried look. He reminds Dexter that it is his third one that day, and if he doesn't cut back, he is tempting the heart gods.
Debra returns to work after she recovers from being shot by Christine Hill. Marty welcomes her back and gives her a coffee on-the-house. They then fist bump.
Marty observes Debra adding a lot of sugar to her coffee. He asks, "A little coffee with that sugar?" Debra tells him that she enjoys the sugar rush.
Season Eight[]
Vince Masuka and his daughter, Niki Walters, are standing in line at Marty's food truck. While waiting, Vince asks Niki why she looked him up, and she asks him where he lives and if he is rich. When it's time to order their lunch, Niki asks Vince if he will pay for her food, and he agrees to treat her. Because she continues to do this at other times, Vince begins to wonder about her motivations. He even hires Debra to run a back-ground check on her, which proves that she is in debt.
