Langsbury is a character in Season Four of the Showtime series DEXTER.
He is a police records clerk for Pembroke Pines Police Department and friend of Zoey Kruger, a police officer.
Summary[]
While Rita Morgan and the kids are out of town for three days, Dexter Morgan spends his time targeting a Pembroke Pines police officer -- Zoey Kruger. Her husband and daughter were shot and killed eight months ago during a home invasion, but Zoey survived with only a wound to her arm and foot.
Under the pretense of writing a paper about blood swipes, Dexter visits Sam, the blood spatter analyst at the Pembroke Pines P.D. They discuss Zoey’s case, with Sam detailing the reasons why he believes that Zoey herself had killed her family and set up a drug dealer called Darius Rae. Afterward, Langsbury, the file clerk at Pembroke Pines, informs Zoey that Dexter has her case file.
With a police car, Zoey follows Dexter, pulls him over, and warns him to back off from investigating her. However, Dexter does the opposite. He deliberately “bats the beehive” by calling her station and asking for the Records Dept. Langsbury answers the phone and Dexter requests the file on Darius Rae. Langsbury immediately calls Zoey to inform her of the call. Zoey again follows Dexter, this time into a gas station restroom. She angrily confronts him and pulls a gun. He talks her out of killing him by explaining how the blood spatter would not show self-defense.
Zoey later breaks into Dexter’s house planning to kill him, but he is lying in wait and overpowers her.
