Katherine Sian Moennig (born 29 December 1977) is an American actress.

She played Michael Angelo, a tattoo artist, on Showtime’s series DEXTER.

Personal Life[]

She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Broadway dancer Mary Zahn and William H. Moennig III. Her father's maternal half sister is actress Blythe Danner, thus she is a cousin of Gwyneth Paltrow.[1] Moennig moved to New York City at the age of eighteen to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She owns an apartment in Los Angeles, California.
