Dexter complains to Harry about Josh bullying him, and Harry says that he is proud that Dexter walked away. Dexter remarks that he should not be proud, because he still wants to kill Josh.
Not long after, a determined Dexter walks toward Josh, holding a knife in his right hand. Harry grabs Dexter in time to stop him from going further. He then angrily lectures Dexter about the danger of losing control.
- The scenario is similar to what happens in the novels regarding Steve Gonzalez, a high school classmate who bullies Dexter. Dexter is set to kill Steve in a room at school, after he straps him on a table. However, Dexter stops after a janitor interrupts him by entering the room.
