Jake Short (born 30 May 1997) is an American actor and director.
In 2009, he played Scott Smith, a boy kidnapped by Arthur Mitchell, on Showtime's series DEXTER.

He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has a brother and two sisters. At age nine, he moved to Los Angeles to live with his grandmother, and pursue his acting career.[2]
