Jake Kirkwood [1] is a character in Season Seven of the Showtime series DEXTER.
He was murdered by his wife, Hannah McKay.
Summary[]
During Jake and Hannah's marriage, she became pregnant. According to Hannah, he demanded that she get an abortion or he would leave her. In response, Hannah poisoned him with Aconite. After his death, she suffered a miscarriage.
Ten years after Jake's death, Lieutenant Debra Morgan looked into whether he was poisoned. She had Jake's body exhumed through his sister, Lori, to run tests on it. However, since Hannah did not have the body embalmed, there was no tissue to test.
