IT Man is a character in Season Seven of the Showtime series DEXTER.
He tracks Viktor Baskov to his last location, eight miles out to sea.
Summary[]
Viktor Baskov has mysteriously gone missing and Isaak Sirko is determined to find him. The IT man tracks a bracelet with GPS that's assumed to be in Viktor’s possession, after which he notifies Isaak. Accompanied by Jurg Yeliashkevych, Isaak hurries to The Fox Hole to question the IT man.
Isaak: “What’s up?”
T Man: “Fortunately, we set up a secure cloud framework that automatically syncs up to the receivers.”
Isaak: “So you're able to reconstruct the GPS tracking points? Now get to the point. What happened to the bracelet?”
IT Man: “Chip kept moving after the girl was dead.”
Isaak: “Where?”
Jurg: “Viktor's apartment.”
Isaak: “And from there?”
IT Man: “Miami airport. Then a marina. Then eight miles out to sea, where the signal stopped.”
Jurg: “Maybe he took a boat offshore to avoid the police and then he threw the bracelet --”
Isaak: [furiously] “He's dead. He's dumped in the ocean, like a load of garbage. Whoever killed him left from this marina. Can you pinpoint the exact slip?”
IT Man: “I'll need some time.”
Isaak: “It's worth the wait.”
Isaak, George, and Jurg arrive at the marina to find Louis Greene in the process of sinking Dexter's boat. Louis is defiant and claims that he owns the Slice of Life until Isaak intimidates him with a drill bit. When Louis admits that it belongs to Dexter Morgan, Isaak shoots him in the head and orders George to dispose of his body.
