Hanna Moore is a child character in Season Four of the Showtime series DEXTER.
While she’s eating lunch at a diner with her parents and brother, Arthur Mitchell sits down, uninvited, at their table.
Summary[]
Dexter Morgan has accompanied Arthur to Tampa where he plans to kill him. He’s told his wife and boss that he’s there attending a meteorological conference.
While in Tampa, Arthur takes Dexter to his childhood home where his sister Vera died in the bathtub. Afterward, Dexter invents an excuse to stop at the convention's hotel, pretending to have heard about a great restaurant. Arthur, though, doesn't see anything special about a hotel coffee shop.
Once they’re seated, Dexter excuses himself to use the men’s room and asks Arthur to order for him. In reality, Dexter hurries over to the convention. He supports his alibi by signing up at the desk and taking his photo with a weatherman.
Dexter promptly returns to the coffee shop where he left Arthur. However, Arthur (whose behavior has become more erratic) isn't at their table. Instead, he's sitting in a corner booth with a family of four. Arthur calls “Kyle” (Dexter’s alias) over and introduces Bob Moore (father), Nancy (mother), Spencer (son), and Hanna (daughter).
Arthur has told them about his sister’s death and they’re clearly uncomfortable. Bob tries to stop Arthur from talking further about it in front of his children, As Arthur is about to reveal Dexter's own confession of killing a man, Dexter abruptly rescues the family by forcing Arthur to leave with him.
