Grandfather is a character in Season One of the Showtime series DEXTER.
He takes a photo of Harry Morgan with teenage Dexter and Debra while they’re on a hayride.
Summary[]
Dexter Morgan is trying to track down the Ice Truck Killer when he receives a cell phone call.
Dispatch: “Mr. Morgan? Dispatch. You've been called to the McCaffrey Pumpkin Patch. Do you need the address?”
Dexter: “No, I know exactly where it is.”
Flashback[]
Along with several others, Harry, Dexter, and Debra are riding in a hay wagon when it hits a bump and Debra is thrown on the floor.
Dexter: “Are you okay?”
Debra: “Are you kidding? That was awesome.”
Dexter: “You've got some hay in your hair.”
Debra: “Where?”
Dexter: [as he throws hay on Deb] “Right there!”
Harry: “Okay, okay, okay, okay. Enough. Enough, you two. Come on.”
Grandfather: [to Harry] “Let me take a picture of you and the kids. You'll miss these moments when they're older.”
Harry: [handing over a camera] “Thanks.”
Harry: [to Dexter] “It's great to see you having such a good time, Dex.”
Dexter: “Are you kidding me? This hay's giving me a total allergy attack, and we're going around in circles on a pumpkin patch. I don't get it.”
Grandfather: “Ready? Smile!”
Back in present time, Debra arrives at the pumpkin patch crime scene.
Debra: [to Dexter] “Didn't dad bring us here once when we were kids?”
Dexter: “I don't remember.”
A portion of Tony Tucci's leg (ankle to knee) is found nearby in a hay wagon.
