Fred is a character in Season One of the Showtime series DEXTER.
He was the last unfortunate victim of Brian Moser, aka The Ice Truck Killer. He lost his life so that Brian could steal his car and have "a set of wheels."
Summary[]
After Brian kidnaps Debra Morgan, he approaches Fred and fatally hits him over the head with an object [unseen]. Fred is then thrown into the trunk of his own car, along with Debra. As Brian is happily driving to his destination, listening to classical music, Debra begins to scream when the duct tape on her mouth falls off. This annoys Brian and he stops the car, and opens the trunk.
Brian: [to Debra] "Sorry, but you're drowning out Fred's radio and he was kind enough to lend us his wheels."
He retapes a petrified Debra's mouth and closes the trunk on her and Fred.
Debra continued to suffer traumatic flashbacks of the event while certain triggers struck, including being in a trunk with a corpse.
Debra suffers another traumatic flashback of the events upon seeing Laura Moser's House, although this time, Fred is only remembered faintly.
Trivia[]
- It is unknown if Fred's body is found by police at the Moser house crime scene and he's never mentioned again.
