Computer Tech is a character in Season Two of the Showtime series DEXTER.
She updates the police station’s computer system and syncs it with Frank Lundy’s high tech equipment.
Summary[]
While Dexter Morgan is investigating the railroad car where John Henry was attacked, Frank Lundy tells him that security cameras are being installed at certain marinas (including Coral Cove Marina).
Back at work, Dexter asks Debra why she didn’t tell him about the security cameras. She says that, though they’re recording, nobody’s seen any of the footage because the computer system is being updated. That night, Dexter goes to the station and tries, but is unable, to sabotage the footage.
The next morning, Dexter arrives at work to find Lundy, Debra, and Masuka with the technician, who is finishing the update.
The show has already started, Dexter thought, but have they seen the feature presentation -- ‘Bane of the Bay Harbor Butcher,’ starring Dexter Morgan as himself?
Lundy: “So, it's all synched up?”
Computer Tech: “Yep, you can watch streaming video of the marina right now if you want to.”
Masuka: “Yeah. Maybe you'll get to see some pontoon poon.”
Lundy (to Masuka) “Did you... need something?”
That's not my marina... yet, Dexter thought. I'll be making my on-screen debut soon enough. I've got to find a way to get to those video files.
Running out of time, Dexter pulls a fire alarm. As everyone evacuates the building, he ducks into Lundy’s office, pulls up the video footage of himself, and deletes it.
