Female Arson Witness is a character in Season Seven of the Showtime series DEXTER.

She and a male witness are questioned by Sergeant Angel Batista at an arson-murder crime scene.

The Phantom Arsonist has struck again, this time at Dixie’s Restaurant. When Dexter Morgan arrives, he crosses the yellow police tape and notices Batista talking with a woman and a tall man. Police officers and firemen are on scene.

Female Witness: [to Batista] “I saw him, and he was coming through the flames. He was wearing a silver-colored suit.”
Angel: “That's our Phantom Arsonist.”
Male Witness: “He looked like an alien.”
Female Witness: “Or a monster. I swear, he was seven feet tall.”

Monsters, aliens, phantoms -- none of them are real, Dexter thought. The thought that an actual person could do this is too awful, so our imaginations create a way to make it easier to take. But even the strongest of imaginations can't protect us once we know the truth.

Lt. Debra Morgan exits the restroom and they approach each other.

Debra: “I called you last night. I wanted to go over the facts of the case.”
Dexter: “We can go over them now.”
Debra: “Where were you? ...Oh. You were with Hannah.”

Detective Joey Quinn, Forensics Specialist Vince Masuka, and Fire Inspector Phil Bosso walk over to Debra and Dexter.

Debra: “Find anything? DNA? Prints?”
Masuka: “Nope, nada, zip.”
Bosso: “Same accelerant as the other four fires, though -- kerosene.”
Quinn: “And he left another "Bobby" scribbled in the soot.”
Debra: “Fuck, that's five "Bobby"s in two weeks.”
Quinn: “I mean, he's gotta be signing his name, right?”
Debra: “I mean, it's the only thing that makes sense. None of the victims were named Bobby, but, I mean, fuckload of good that does us. There are thousands of Bobs and Roberts in Miami. What do we know about the latest victim?”
Quinn: “Mom took her daughter to the bathroom. They both went up in smoke. Kid was six years old.”
Debra: “What kind of sick fuck does that to a six-year-old kid?

As Dexter watches Bosso calmly look at the little girl’s burned corpse, he thought, Maybe the kind who isn't bothered by the sight of a dead child.
