Evidence Clerk is a character in Season Seven and Eight of the Showtime series DEXTER.

She logs in evidence and records its location within the storage locker.

Summary[]

“Are You...?”

Lt. Debra Morgan informs the evidence clerk that she needs to see the files on the Ice Truck Killer Case. She’s told the location is row F-17 and Debra signs in. The file box contains photos of Brian’s kill table and she flashbacks to being wrapped in plastic. The similarities to the way Dexter killed Travis Marshall are apparent and her suspicions of Dexter grow stronger.

“Do the Wrong Thing”

George Novikov pressures Joey Quinn to steal the blood evidence against Isaak Sirko. At the station, Quinn tells the clerk that he needs the files on Case Number 98760: the Dixon Case, because he is testifying in court the next week. The clerk says those files are in the "dry section: bin 51, shelf 4, third one over, back and to the right." Once in the storage locker, Quinn enters the refrigerated room and steals the tube of blood evidence.

“Every Silver Lining...”

Debra shoots and kills Javier Garza, and the police find her gun in Garza’s car. At Debra’s request, Dexter agrees to switch out the gun to protect her. The clerk, who is having a busy day, allows Dexter into the evidence locker with no questions asked. He easily swaps the guns, having successfully changed evidence for himself innumerable times in the past.
