EMS Paramedic is a character in Season One of the Showtime series DEXTER.
He assesses Debra Morgan after she is nearly killed by Brian Moser, the Ice Truck Killer.
Summary[]
Brian kidnaps Debra and sets her up on a kill table, after which he pressures Dexter Morgan to kill her. However, Dexter refuses, saying that he is “fond” of her. This angers Brian and they engage in a brief struggle, with Brian escaping as the police arrive on scene.
As Debra sits in the back entrance of an ambulance, a paramedic shines a light into her eyes.
Paramedic: “Any headache, dizziness?”
Debra: “I’m fine. I just want to go home.”
Paramedic: “I’m afraid we have to transport you to the hospital -- standard procedure.”
Dexter rides in the ambulance with Debra to the hospital, where she stays overnight for evaluation. That night, Dexter arranges a trap for Brian in his apartment and successfully captures him.
