Dr. Willis is a character in Season Eight of the Showtime series DEXTER.
He tends to Dr. Turner, who was maimed by Oliver Saxon aka The Brain Surgeon.
Summary[]
Dr. Turner, a veterinarian, stumbles into Miami Central Hospital. He gags and throws up blood on the floor of the lobby. People gather around and stare at him. A security guard yells, “We need a doctor over here!” as he helps Turner to a nearby wheelchair. Nurses and Dr. Willis rush to Turner’s aid.
During the commotion, Oliver Saxon strolls unnoticed into the hospital, passing through the crowd. He is in search of Debra Morgan, who is hospitalized because he shot her and he wants to finish her off.
Dr. Willis tells a nurse, “He’s choking. I need a suction canister over here,” and she hurries off to get it. The doctor shines a light inside Turner’s mouth, and discovers that his tongue has been cut out.
Just then, Dexter Morgan enters the hospital, there to see Debra, and notices the blood on the floor. He hears Dr. Willis say, “Jesus. His tongue has been cut out. Let’s get him to the O.R.” As they wheel Turner away, a nurse asks, “Why would anyone cut his tongue out?”
Dexter thinks, “All eyes on the victim. The perfect distraction. Saxon.” A few minutes later, he finds Saxon and they attempt to kill each other. However, Lt. Angel Batista appears, puts a gun to Saxon’s head, and arrests him.
