Detective Reed is a character in Season One of the Showtime series DEXTER.
He is briefly appears a couple of times in the first episode.

After Dexter Morgan returns from the Pool Victim crime scene, Detective Reed is seen in the background talking with other detectives, including Detective Sue.
Reed is later seen at the Fountain Victim briefing where Debra Morgan is rebuffed by Lt. Maria LaGuerta when she brings up the possibility of a Refrigerated Truck.
