Blonde Nurse is a character in Season Eight of the Showtime series DEXTER.
She works at the Monterey Nursing home where the comatose father of A.J. Yates resides.
Summary[]
After A.J. goes into hiding, Dexter Morgan lures him by phone. He pretends to be a doctor claiming that his father's condition has worsened
Dexter: [disguising his voice] “Hello? Mr. Yates?”
A.J.: “Yeah, that's me.”
Dexter: “I'm afraid we have some bad news. Your father's heart is failing.”
A.J.: “How bad is it?”
Dexter: “We think you should come quickly. He might not have much time.”
A.J. hurries to his father’s bedside, appearing to be deeply concerned.
A.J.: “Dad. I got here as fast as I could. I'm right here. Can you hear me?”
The door softly clicks as Dexter closes it, and A.J. realizes that he is trapped.
A.J.: [to Dexter] “It was you?”
Dexter: “I was counting on you being the good son.”
Suddenly, A.J. pulls out his father's breathing tube to create a diversion. Monitors and alarms beep, air hisses, and Mr. Yates begins to gasp and choke.
A.J.: “They'll be here any second.”
A.J. quickly escapes through the window as two nurses rush in to aid his father.
Blonde nurse: “Room 26, Code Blue!”
Brunette nurse: “We're losing him. We're losing him!”
The nurses don’t notice Dexter, who is hiding behind the door. While they are distracted, he slips out the door.
To save his own life, Dexter thought, A.J. was willing to take his father's.
