Blood Buckets
Blood Buckets are objects in Season One. They are containers that stored the blood that Brian Moser aka the Ice Trucker drained from his victims.
Brian’s M.O.
After bringing a prostitute to his place, Brian subdues her, hangs her upside down, cuts her throat, and collects the blood in a large metal trough. He stores the woman's blood in a plastic bucket labeled with her name. Next, he dismembers her body into symmetrical pieces and neatly wraps them for public display.
Summary
* "Seeing Red"
Brian uses the collected blood to cover Room 103 in the Marina View Hotel to resemble the shipping container where his mother was murdered. This causes Dexter Morgan to have a panic attack.
When the cops finally locate the apartment of the Ice Truck Killer, they find the walk-in freezer where he has been murdering his victims by hanging them upside down and draining their blood. He had stored the blood in plastic containers labeled with the victims’ names. However, there was at least one unnamed bucket, likely an unidentified dead prostitute.
